What is in your pet's food?

Here is an excellent resource located on the Natura Pet web site. You can research individual ingredients of up to 4 different dog or cat food brands at a time by clicking on individual ingredients. I found the supermarket market brands of pet food especially interesting.
There is a huge correlation between what we feed our pets and how healthy , active and predisposed to learning they are. If your dog is experiencing food allergies, check out this excellent resource.
Think before you feed!

Nancy, may I cross-post this to my canine nutrition course? (By the way, Lauren's co-teaching it.)

Supermarket dog food (a.k.a. commercial dog food) is notorious for containing inferior ingredients. The big box pet stores sell premium dog food and it contains less by-products and cheap fillers. Pet owner's can also buy super premium dog food. Super premium dog food contains 100% human grade ingredients and no artificial chemical preservatives etc. It can be ordered on the internet and delivered to your home or office. Check out a pet food home delivery service in your area.
