This is much like the time the child fell into the primate exhibit at a zoo, and was injured, and a female gorilla took care of him until rescue workers arrived. In addition, I'm glad the gorilla was presented a gift, and the dog has been given veterinary care & a home.

It's quite remarkable what dogs will do to help their masters. Great dog story!
