Pet Supplies Drive for Katrina Pets

A major Pet Supplies Drive is being held by local pet businesses to help the thousands of pets in distress.

What you can do:

Donate unopened animal food, either dry or canned, bottled water, flea/tick protection and or other non-perishables to any of the following locations:


Planet Dog

During regular business hours

Bark 'N Roll
13 Free Street
During regular business hours

Planet Dog Headquarters
322 Fore St.
Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm

Planet Dog Warehouse
144 Fore St.
Mon-Fri., 9 am-5 pm


Monetary donations to Noah's Wish are also accepted at all drop-off locations.


Good Shepherd Food Bank of Auburn has generously agreed to truck the supplies south.

Donations are being accepted through the month of September. A "Big Drop Off Event" is in the works for Oct. 1st and Oct. 2nd.

Portland Dog Wash at 981 Forest Avenue would also be glad to receive donations to help the pets displaced by Hurricane Katrina. We have a history of charitable contributions. In fact, we just completed a fundraiser for the Animal Refuge League in Westbrook.
